Following injury, illness or disability, physiotherapy aims to restore movement and function. This is achieved by identifying your specific treatment needs and goals from a personalised assessment and implementing a bespoke treatment plan.

This very much depends on your presentation; however, we anticipate improvement within 4-6 weeks. Factors that can impact recovery include the degree of severity of the injury/illness and compliance with the advice and home exercise plan provided. Your therapist will discuss this with you on an individual basis following assessment.

This will be determined by clinical need following an assessment, and discussion around this is part of developing a collaborative treatment plan.

It is best to wear loose comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers.

The therapist will take a medical history and ask about your presenting problems. They will then complete a person-centred physical assessment to identify your treatment needs and goals for therapy. A collaborative treatment plan will be discussed, and a home exercise plan provided.

We take payment in advance for the first appointment and then can either take payment following each treatment session or we can send you a monthly invoice. Invoices must be paid within 30 days or a late payment fee will apply.

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of an appointment being cancelled or the total cost of the session will be charged. Appointments not attended will also be charged at the full amount of the session.
